Being that I turned 39 yesterday I figured I should probably do a current self portrait. If I wait any longer I will have to paint a gray-haired old man!!! Self portraits are, for me, one of the most challenging things to paint. I tried hard not to get to detailed and wanted this to remain very painterly. You can read comments on this painting HERE.
